How they look at you, when you are still their most favorite thing in the world. The way you hold them, the way they hold you. Not only are we creating new moments, we are capturing the essence of all moments at each age for years to come. And those moments with your loved ones are worth documenting.
Booking
From the time that you first reach out, I hope that you feel excited to document the beautiful moments that make your family unique (because I know I do)! And know that I am here for you every step of the way! Upon reaching out, I will send you my schedule, making it easy to find a date and time that works for your family. From there, you will receive a link to pay your deposit, sign your contract, and fill out a quick questionnaire to help me better serve your family. Once these are done, you'll get a confirmation email while I am jumping for joy at the excitement and honor to work with you!
Location+Styling
After you book your session, I will work with you to identify personal style and preferences for both location and styling. Utah has so many beautiful locations to choose from, so to make things easier, you will receive a location guide with examples of beautiful spots. Location can really compliment the personality of your family! I also offer complimentary styling services where I can be involved as much as you would like in helping to style your family. If shopping isn't your thing, no worries! I am happy to do that for or with you. Whatever you need, I will help, because styling can really elevate a session.
Your Session
Shooting day is my favorite part of the whole process! The day of your session, I will send you exact coordinates, along with map screenshots and exact directions to help you feel confident in finding the location (no matter how off the beaten path we are). Plan to be there 10-15 minutes before we meet so that you can arrive relaxed and ready to just enjoy each other. I will remind you and your family members how I work a session (and how fun it is!) before we get started. But try not to worry about your kids (or partners!), I will move the family as needed to elicit beautiful memories. Do be ready to relax and have fun!
Delivery
Next is photo delivery, yay! Editing photos is a very detailed process as I carefully take the time to hand edit and paint your photos into works of art. Typically, my turnaround time is 2-3 weeks, but I will let you know at the end of the session about how long you can expect. I am always grateful for my clients' patience as I balance my own family and work life, making sure that I don't rush your family photos. When they are ready (yay!), I will send you a link to view your photos. From there, you can select your package and make the final payment. Once that is received, your photos will be ready for download!
